I’m Yogi Sharp (DipWCF, BSc(Hons) PCert), a farrier and PhD candidate in Farriery Science, dedicated to bridging research with real-world practice. The hoof impacts the entire body, yet vital scientific insights often don’t reach those who need them most.

That’s why I founded The Equine Documentalist—a platform delivering cutting-edge research to owners, farriers, and vets through CPD courses, webinars, and articles. As a working farrier in Sussex, my team and I are committed to evidence-based education that improves horse welfare worldwide.
